About the founder
of the institute

Darko Marković, born in 1972 in Belgrade, works as an executive coach, facilitator and systemic consultant for organizational development. He is the founder of the Systemic Solutions Institute and is a pioneer in systemic work with organizations in Serbia.

He is a psychologist/psychotherapist by training, but he has always been fascinated by organisations as systems. After realising that the sum of individual changes does not lead to a systemic change, he searched for better approaches in various parts of the world.

This search led him to Groningen, where he underwent many years of training for systemic work with organisations and facilitation of organisational constellations with Jan Jacob Stam at the Bert Hellinger Institute. Further professional growth led him to training in systemic coaching with John Whittington in the UK and family constellations with Vedran Kraljeta and Nataša Čebulj.

In parallel with researching the field of systemic work, he also studied leading approaches in the field of systems thinking, working with individual and collective trauma, as well as various transformative approaches in working with leaders. However, he has learned most through his own practice, working with leaders, teams and organisations in more than 30 countries.

In his work, Darko supports leaders, teams, organisations and larger systems to make systemic changes and be in touch with their potential.
